Hi, if anyone has MSN 5.0 or below like I do, then, you've obviously experienced not being able to log in 'cause they won't let you until you upgrade to 6.2. Well, I would do that gladly if the darned thing were compatible with JAWS... or the version I have, anyway. I have JAWS 4.02, so it DEFINITELY doesn't work. To those of you who know me poysonally and chat with me: I will not be able to have MSN anymore till someone writes a script for the version of JAWS I have, so that is why I will not be online. However, y'all can contact me here and via e-mail. Just wanted to let you know that I'm not blocking y'all or nothin', haha...

Hi Mel, If you can't use MSn because of Jaws, why not use windows messenger which works the same as MSN and is very accessible and easy It's on all Windows XP computers. Just go to start menu, Programs, then w w w until ya find Windows Messenger haha! Then just log in with your mSN ID and password and all should be well. Hope this helps! Caitcait

well I haven't loggged in since I upgraded jaws, but if it tries to force me to upgrade, guess that will be it for me and msn messenger, since 6.2 or any version above version won't work with jaws unless you have windows xp, and i'm not going to upgrade to winxp just for that. I' ll have 98, until this computer dies.

Hey, for anyone interested, there is, in fact, a web only version of msn. You can go to it, at http://g.msn.com/1meen_us/1_3561770_02 Hope this helps anyone who is stuck back in 98 and can't get on. It's a bit shaky because of the web interface and you do have to refresh the page every few minutes to see the new messages, but it does work.

well I just tried to log in to msn messenger, and it wouldn't let me either, it said I had to upgrade to 6.2. Oh well, guess that's the end of msn messenger as far as I'm concerned.

well I logged onto it, and had to give my email address, country and birthday, and it kept taking me in and out of a secure sight. Then when I logged in, jaws stopped talking, so when I hit alt f4 to get out, jaws started talking again. If it doesn't read the incoming messages automatically, and jaws freezes everytime I log in, I don't think I'm going to like it too much, but thanks anyway tunehead.
